Cozy Intrigue Presents …

Welcome to A Southern Blessings Nugget!

You may ask yourself, “What is A Southern Blessings Nugget?”
It’s simple … a nugget of inspiration to bless your day.

“Yeah, but a nugget?”

I could call it an Amuse Bouche Blessing, but come on now, that just ain’t southern.

Be Blessed, Y’all!

Before His crucifixion, Jesus made a triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Crowds met him waving palm branches. Have you ever wondered why they used palm fronds? Was is all the people had to wave or could something more divine be in play?

In ancient times palm fronds were a sign of victory, goodness, peace, and eternal life. They were waved to welcome home conquering kings and military leaders following victorious battles.

As Jesus entered Jerusalem on a borrowed donkey, crowds of people waved palm fronds and laid them on the road for him to ride across … setting the stage for his sacrifice on Calvary and triumph over the grave.

They shouted, “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” Yet soon they would call for his death.

We celebrate Jesus’s triumphal entry because of His resurrection and gift of eternal life. And we know our righteous and victorious King is coming!
